Artist in Antarctica:
Walking Among the Emperor Penguins

Join award-winning artist, naturalist Sharon K. Schafer as shares photographs and music celebrating her extraordinary experiences of ”walking among the emperor penguins.” 

Schafer served as artist-in-residence with the prestigious Antarctic Polar Arts Program.  During her stay on the Antarctic ice, Schafer was privileged to photograph and sketch at a remote Emperor Penguin rookery on the sea ice near Snow Hill Island, Antarctica.
